“Stand up! Pick up your mat and walk.”

~ John 5:8

1) Move. Change your status, your

mindset, your mental & physical position. DO what you haven’t been able to do (or didn’t THINK you were able to do) in a very long time. Rise above passive resignation. Dare to believe, taking action on God’s life-changing word! “Repent”?

2) Roll up & pick up your place of hopeless disengagement, of resignation to circumstances, of inaction and even excuse. Start moving. Begin to engage your new “attitude” (in manned flight: orientation relative to the horizon).

3) Move forward in a new, positive direction. Exert your will, muscles, strength, however unsure or unsteady at first, toward active change and discovery. Apply internal force and, one step at a time, in obedience to the Word of God, get going on your God-empowered journey of faith, of new horizons, of even joy!

Sometimes, there comes a time, to get up, step out, and find out. Ready? Go!

Shalom!

Brian
